Office of Title IX

Title IX is a Federal law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs and activities receiving Federal financial assistance. Sexual harassment may constitute a form of sex discrimination prohibited by Title IX. It is important to understand the definition of sexual harassment includes sexual violence. Campus SaVE Act

The Campus Sexual Violence Elimination Act, or Campus SaVE Act (SaVE), is a 2013 amendment to the federal Jeanne Clery Act. SaVE was designed by advocates along with victims/survivors as a companion to Title IX that will help bolster the response to and prevention of sexual violence in higher education.
